Dichroic Filters

Core function: Realize beam separation, combining, or specific wavelength filtering. With double-sided coatings (filter coating + anti-reflection coating), they exhibit high transmission or reflection for different wavelengths, with a conventional incident angle of 45°.

Applications: Laser, bio-analytical instruments (flow cytometers, PCR analyzers, fluorescence microscopes), fluorescence excitation spectrum analysis, etc.

Classification (by wavelength effect):

• Shortwave Pass: High transmission for wavelengths below cut-off, high reflection for above.

• Longwave Pass: High transmission for wavelengths above cut-off, high reflection for below.

• Multi-band: With three or more transmission/reflection bands.
